YATAY reaches new heights

Taylor Swift gave her stamp of approval to an ultra-trendy footwear aesthetic, snakeskin, when out and about with her friend Gigi Hadid in New York City on Monday. She took on the look with an animal-friendly vegan set of boots from Stella McCartney.

As confirmed by the brand itself on social media, Swift stepped out in the square-toe snake knee-high stiletto boots — which she matched to the Ryder flap crossbody bag, another reptilian-inspired item. The boots are hand-sculpted from Yatay M, a cruelty-free vegan alternative to snakeskin which is mycelium-based.
